On June 1, the Paulo Freire Institute Editorial and Library and the Paulo Freire Reference Center starts commemorating the Environment week and the 10th anniversary of the Earth Charter launch. During the event the following books in Portuguese will launched:
– Earth Charter in Education and the Notebook of Formation Quality in Education: a new approach, from Moacir Gadotti
– Municipal Education Systems: Acting Guidelines and basis and the Education of the Municipality, from José Eustáquio Romao
– Citizenship Education and Integral Education: basis and practice, from Angela Antunes and Paulo Roberto Padilha.
The event will start at 7pm, at the Editorial Building, located at Rua Cerro Corá, 550, loja 01, Sao Paulo. They will have a speech from the authors talking a little about their books and the importance of Education in its different aspects and scopes, also some cultural performances and autographs.
