After running three Earth Charter Global Learning Opportunities (e-GLO) with great success, funding dried up in 2010 and ECI has not been able to run another since. But now ECI has launched a crowdfunding campaign on indiegogo to try and raise the necessary funds to provide scholarships for all students to attend the fourth and most ambitious e-GLO yet. Still partnering with Beatboard from Canada, ECI intends to co-organize and run this fourth e-GLO with the goal of training 16 global leaders in sustainability ethics, new media, digital storytelling, virtual collaboration, and the Earth Charter.
