New online youth course for North Americans

The new Earth Charter North-American Youth Leadership, Sustainability, and Ethics Online Course has been launched in partnership with IDEAS (Intellectual Decisions on Environmental Awareness Solutions), which is an organization that helps nurture the talents of leaders to drive solutions and implement sustainability programs and initiatives on campuses and across communities around the World. This 7 week course aims to support the participants to realize their role as leaders for a more sustainable future and help them identify key issues and strategies for their personal projects.

Each two-hour session occurs on the Earth Charter virtual, interactive platform, where participants can listen to presentations, interact in the chat box, and work in smaller groups on specific topics. Between each session participants have to complete and submit reflective exercises on the subjects presented each week and work on their sustainable action projects. The first session took place Wednesday June 12th and deepened the idea of interconnectedness among global major issues in a very interactive way. Below is a list of session titles and those that are links will take you to a page where recordings of the classes can be seen.
