Follow the new Earth Charter blog, organized by EC Youth

Submitted by Amanda Bancroft, EC Youth

Organized by the Earth Charter Youth Task Force, a new blog in its beta phase is gathering articles about Earth Charter inspired actions worldwide.  So far, the blog has received posts about fair trade, Earth Charter teacher training in Indonesia, the Eye on the Earth Summit in the United Arab Emirates, an ecovillage conference in Egypt, and more.

With a splashy blue background matching the EC logo, the blog displays many features including a Facebook “like” box with over 4,600 people supporting the Earth Charter on Facebook!  There is also a map to track where readers come from.  With much room to grow, the Youth Task Force Communications Team and the blog Editorial Team are working together to establish what this blog can become.  In its early stages, feedback is needed on the blog design, and volunteers with knowledge of WordPress blogs are encouraged to apply their skills.  Many thanks go out to our new Editorial Team volunteers Allan Muliru, Samuel K. W. Gaye, and Lovans Owusu-Takyi.
