The Earth Charter and Regional Treaties of Principle 10 Rio Declaration

This article provides an analysis of the implementation of Principle 10 of the Rio Declaration from different perspectives. First, from the perspective of the Earth Charter as a comprehensive ethical framework of global governance based on the principles of sustainability. Second, from the perspectives of the two regional treaties on access rights: Aarhus Convention and Escazu Agreement.
