Participation of Indigenous Peoples in the Earth Charter Consultations – 1996

This paper analyses two processes which aimed to acknowledge the importance of Indigenous Peoples within participatory mechanisms for decision making, in the 1990s, including their participation to the Earth Charter consultation process.
