Mapting at Viva Technology 2017

Viva Technology is a global rendez-vous for innovations, which gathered more than 6000 startups and close to 70’000 visitors in Paris from June 15 – 17. Co-organized by Publicis Groupe and Groupe Les Echos, the event was structured around the technologies that will shape tomorrow’s world and aimed to bring start-ups and leading companies together to create partnerships and advancements in Technologies.

Amidst the drones, robots, self-driving cars, 3D printers and other connected objects, Viva Technology wished to highlight projects that use technology to provide solutions to major global issues. Thanks to Spark News and their #PositiveImpact Map, visitors were given a great opportunity to discover initiatives that have a positive impact on society and the environment.

Mapting on the Sparknews Booth

Mapting was one of the projects invited on the Spark News booth and, together, we encouraged visitors to snap&map all the #PositiveImpact initiatives according to the SDG they are contributing to. An entertaining way for people to discover great projects and learn more about the 17SDGs, which sparked a lot of interest among professionals, students, young entrepreneurs and families. Not only did we receive positive feedback, we also discussed potential partnerships with important groups. We will keep you updated  on these, in the meantime, have a look at some of the pictures from our two days at VivaTechnology 2017.
