In preparation for the Synod (bishops’ meeting) for the Amazon, participants will be reflecting during the ‘40 days down the river’ campaign. On Day 2 they will use the Earth Charter as a reference, specifically the quotation contained in paragraph No. 207 of the encyclical Laudato Si’.
