Towards a UN Declaration of Rights of Mother Nature: Bridging Ethical Sustainability and the Recognition of Nature Rights.
The webinar aims to examine linkages between ethical sustainability and the recognition of Mother Nature’s rights. This event will highlight the crucial role of interconnectivity and networking on a global scale and the role of ethical frameworks, such as the Earth Charter, in order to take action for planetary well-being and (re)assessment of nature-based worldviews.
The webinar will be conducted the 14th of September at 10 am ET-4:00 CET via Zoom, hosted by the Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature (GARN) and ECI. Participants will engage with the history and visions of GARN and ECI. After the panel discussion with featured speakers, a space for comments and questions of the participants will be provided. A recording of the webinar will be made public.
