We congratulate Escola Vila for receiving the Earth Charter & ESD School Seal – Advanced Level (Tree), and for its ongoing commitment to cultivating sustainability values and continuously improving its educational approach.
Escola Vila is the first school in Brazil to undergo this process and receive this distinction!
The school has long been an inspiration to many given its pedagogical approach, which embraces complexity and fosters sustainability values. It is a remarkable example of how transdisciplinary education can be put into practice in a school, contributing to a more just, sustainable, and peaceful future. Congratulations on celebrating its 45 years!
The Earth Charter & ESD School Seal (ECSS) is a quality seal pioneer among school assessments since it integrates an ethical perspective of sustainability with the pedagogical elements and education practice associated with education for sustainable development.
