In partnership with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), ECI started the design of a sustainable economy youth forum, whose goal will be to develop a youth perspective for a sustainable economy without a vision of unlimited growth.
The design of the forum started with the environmental dimension. Young students and professionals were brought together to discuss the main environmental challenges in Costa Rica. The group analyzed key reports such as the State of the Nation Report 2013 and the Environmental Performance Index.
In the upcoming months, ECI and its partners are going to organize thematic roundtables on the topics of Integral Biodiversity Management, Waste Water, and Responsible Consumption. All of these topics will be assessed through the Earth Charter lens.
