Earth Charter Guide for Primary Schools Published in Spain

The Earth Charter and Sustainability Guide for Primary Education (Guía de la Carta de la Tierra y el Desarrollo Sostenible para Educación Primaria) was elaborated in 2007 by Fundación Valores, one of our Affiliates in Spain, in collaboration with Antonio Cortés and Cristina Tapias. The book is based on the Earth Charter and illustrated by Diego and José Luis del Río Carrillo. The Council of Industry, Energy and Environment of the Board of Extremadura (La Consejería de Industria, Energía y Medio Ambiente de la Junta de Extremadura) sponsored an initial 1,000 copies for distribution in local schools.
