The Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat), The Center of Education and Training for Sustainable Development, the National Earth Charter Secretariat, and the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes in Mexico are joining forces to organize the third National Meeting of Universities with the Earth Charter. The meeting is intended the community of universities that have endorsed the Earth Charter in Mexico.
It will take place from October 11th to 13th, 2012 at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes.
The meeting will feature universities sharing their experiences working with the Earth Charter and in the formation of a sustainable society in general. This effort will also seek to strengthen linkages between institutions of higher education in Mexico.
