Participate in iEARN and Earth Charter video translation

iEARN (International Education and Resource Network), in collaboration with dotSUB is working to translate an Earth Charter video into 100 languages.

22 iEARN schools in 20 countries have created an amazing video titled, Earth Charter: Values & Principles for a Sustainable Future. View it here. 

 iEARN goal is for this video to be the first ever translated/subtitled into 100 or more languages

You can be part of this historic milestone! Want to help translate the video subtitles?  dotSUB is a web-based tool that makes it quick and easy to add subtitles to any video. So far, the video has been translated into 21 languages: Arabic, Basque, Bengali, Catalan, Chinese, English, Ganda (Luganda), Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Japanese, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Persian (Farsi), Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Slovenian and Turkish. 

There are two ways in which you can participate:

1.  Visit www.dotsub.com, register and then click on Earth Charter 100 Languages Project.  Scroll down and you will see a section called Translate and Transcribe.  Select your language and start translating.  You can view a tutorial video available there for more detailed information.

2. Write to [email protected] , mention the language you will be translating and you will receive instructions on what to do.
