In 14 October, ECI Secretariat and the British Embassy in Costa Rica organized the screening of “Age of Stupid” at the University for Peace in Costa Rica.
Age of Stupid is an independent British film that presents a vision of the world in 2055 after a hypothetical catastrophe due to climate change.
Around 60 students and staff members came to watch the movie and then participated in a discussion forum with the British Ambassador, UPEACE Vice Rector and ECI Secretariat Director.
The British Embassy has signed an agreement with the producers to screen this movie in public events. The producers are very interested in spreading the word about the importance of the upcoming climate change negotiations, and are trying to have as many screenings as possible.
