Earth Charter International would like to encourage the entire network to participate in the post-2015 development agenda that is to define the Sustainable Development Goals. This intergovernmental negotiation encompasses the follow-up to the Rio+20 UN Conference on Sustainable Development and also the Millennium Development Goals process. The second round of the post-2015 Global Dialogues is taking place from April to December 2014.
Participating in these processes and adding your perspective could enrich the discussion and generate a positive impact in the ongoing negotiations. We urge you to take some time to familiarize yourself with it. See through the links and pages below how you can engage, and add your valuable perspective to these vital discussions.
In the following link you can find an interview (made by UN-NGLS) with Paul Ladd, Head of UNDP’s Team on the Post-2015 Development Agenda, about the forthcoming second round of global consultations orchestrated by the UN Development Group (UNDG), which offers an overview of this process. http://www.un-ngls.org/spip.php?article4390

The Sustainable Development Knowledge Platform is a wealth of information on these processes:

Civil society participation is moderated through Major Groups. You can find all of them through the Sustainable Development Knowledge Platform, but here are two that most of you are likely to fit into.
Connect with the Major Group for NGOs, coordinating NGO participation in the SDG process.

Another platform that hosts many links and information to ongoing discussions is the UN-organized World We Want platform: http://www.worldwewant2015.org/ see at http://www.worldwewant2015.org/sitemap#national
This platform hosts a multitude of discussions and e-forums on topics such as Inclusive growth and employment, Infrastructure, Climate and Sustainability, and Governance through the C20 Conversations, supported by UNDP, and AINA is hosting an ongoing discussion on Child Poverty and the Sustainable Development Goals.
