I am Rihana Ahmed, a proud Ethiopian who is passionate, humble, and dedicated. I hold a Master of Science from Addis Ababa University and am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the same institution. With a deep commitment to youth empowerment and mental health advocacy, I serve as a youth and community mobilization officer at the Youth Network for Sustainable Development (YNSD), a local CSO.
When I discovered the Earth Charter, I was thrilled as it resonated with my values and aspirations. This Charter provided me with a wealth of knowledge and insights on addressing pressing environmental and social issues, transforming and empowering my experience. I find joy in activities such as hiking, swimming, spending time with loved ones, immersing myself in nature, and meeting new people.
I strongly believe that by empowering youth and prioritizing mental health, we can create a more sustainable and equitable world for future generations. I am excited to collaborate with like-minded individuals who share a passion for shaping a better future for all. Let’s work together to make a meaningful impact!
