Earth Charter International is participating at the World Conference on Education for Sustainable Development, organized by UNESCO in Nagoya and which mark the end of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development and the launch of the Global Programme on ESD.
The following Earth Charter events will take place as part of this Conference:
- Looking back to forge the future: Lessons learned from values-based ESD experiences. Monday Nov. 10th, 12:15 – 13:45, Room 234 . This side event aims to present and analyze common elements from a series of good practices on ESD that have had an emphasis on values, and open a space to look into the future, with regards this kind of work and the implementation of the GAP for ESD.
- Earth Charter and ESD in Japan. Tuesday Nov. 11th, Room 131 – 132. This event is organized by the Earth Charter Committee of Asia Pacific and Japan.
- Earth Charter Musical “Our Blue Planet”
