The World Youth Conference (WYC 2010) took place in Mexico, Leon, August 23 – 27, 2010.
The Mexican Government organized the World Youth Conference 2010 (WYC) with the objective of analyzing the role of young people in the Millennium Development Goals. The WYC2010 was a space for representatives of government, parliamentary members, youth organizations and young people from all over the world, to meet and interact.
An Earth Charter workshop was organized on Wednesday, August 25th by the Earth Charter International Youth Facilitator. The session presented the declaration for the participants and explored the ways how they can use it in their daily lives and within their organizations.
