EC+10 Conference Report and Video Released

From 1 November to 3 November, 2010, the Earth Charter +10 Conference – convened in commemoration of the Charter’s 10th Anniversary – was held at the Centre for Environment Education in Ahmedabad, India. Centered around the theme of an “Ethical Framework for a Sustainable World”, EC+10 brought together over 500 participants, representing countries from all over the world and a wide variety of different fields of interest, including environment, human rights, gender, peace, and many others. The Conference sought to find ways in which the ethical and values dimension could be better integrated into Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), and to understand the role of the Earth Charter in accomplishing that mission.

The report and official video from the Conference have recently been released at the EC+10 Conference website. Both products present the results of the Conference, including the array of participation and the findings of the many different working groups that were formed.
