From Vision to Action: Earth Charter Young Leaders Contributing to Planetary Well-being in their Professions

A Special Conversation in Commemoration of International Youth Day

Earth Charter Young Leaders are pleased to invite you to this year’s event commemorating International Youth Day, with the theme “Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World,” which highlights the critical need for a green transition in response to the global climate crisis, achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and build a just, sustainable and peaceful world. Emphasizing the importance of green skills as the knowledge, abilities, values, and attitudes required for a sustainable society (UN.org), three Earth Charter young leaders will inspire participants to join their mission of turning conscience into action by sharing about their experiences and the experience of youth in their networks. Through dialogue and collaboration, this event seeks to encourage young people to take meaningful action and foster a greener and more sustainable future, emphasizing that age is not a barrier to creating a positive impact on the environment and society. ECYLs welcome participants of all ages to create a space for intergenerational dialogue as well.
