Earth Charter U.S. (ECUS) invites you to host a Climate Change Community Summit on October 11, 2008 and join a global community of 58 cities in celebrating the International Year of Planet Earth. Using the Earth Charter’s ethical framework for sustainability, each city custom designs its 
t effectively address climate change and its effects in their locale. ECUS is coordinating the Summits and underwriting the web technology that will connect all the cities in a global round-robin on Summit Day and for monthly interactions to share experiences and good practices for the following year.
