María Sosa Segnini is the communications and project officer at the Earth Charter International Secretariat and the Center for Education for Sustainable Development. She was born in Costa Rica and is a political scientist and communicator from the University of Costa Rica, who’s passionate about collaborating through community work towards social justice, preservation of democracy and active participation. María has worked with indigenous and rural communities and research in sustainability, ecology and socio-environmental conflicts.
