We would like to give a warm welcome to the Education for Sustainability Program of the University of San Andrés (UdeSA), Argentina, as an Affiliate of Earth Charter International. This institution and ECI Secretariat signed the agreement on June 24, 2020.
This University’s central campus is located in the town of Victoria, Partido de San Fernando, Buenos Aires Province. The mission of the UdeSA Education for Sustainability Program is to promote quality education by strengthening the capacities of educators and relevant actors at all levels of the educational system, especially in the area of sustainable global citizenship.
This institutional Program is very interested in the promotion, adoption and use of the Earth Charter as an inspiring reference document for Argentinean society and its education system.
We are pleased to know that this Program coordinates a UNESCO Chair of Education for Sustainability and Global Citizenship, with which we hope to generate collaborative actions under the UNESCO Chair of Education for Sustainable Development with the Earth Charter.
