In Sierra Leone, the Environment Foundation of Africa (EFA), an ECI Affiliate, organized the annual meeting of the Green Actors of West Africa Network (GAWA), and the IUCN Commission on Education and Communication – West & Central Africa regional members’ meeting in Freetown on 1-5 February.
Taking advantage of this meeting, EFA Director incorporated the Earth Charter in the agenda. A general presentation about the Earth Charter was done, focusing on its role on education.
Around 30 people from 17countries participated in this event.
