Zero Emission, the programme from Spain´s International radio, which is the only program in Spanish dedicated to sustainability, disseminates the Earth Charter in its regular transmissions. The director of the program, Ricardo Fraguas Poole, shares his experience in infusing the values and principles of the Earth Charter in its transmissions.
THE EARTH CHARTER AND JOHN LENNON´S ¨IMAGINE¨ FUSED ON ZERO EMISSION IN SPAIN´S INTERNATIONAL RADIO

Dear friends of The Earth Charter,
It is with great emotion, pride, and satisfaction that we are able to share with all of you that the message of the Earth Charter is our daily Creed at ZERO EMISSION, Spain´s International Radio program dedicated to the diffuse and promotion of Sustainability.
We cannot find a better way to begin our program than to reaffirm ourselves in what is articulated in the preamble of the Charter.
“We are one human family, with a common destiny.” “We live moments of privilege, to be able to govern in the right way our present and our future”. “Respect and protect Earth and nature, Universal Human Rights, economic justice and the culture of Peace”.
I am continuously thrilled every day, over and over again, by publicly diffusing these words and ideas, which fill our existence with meaning.
This is something I do with the intention of helping us to remember and to assume the privilege of exercising the genuine and sincere act of generous responsibility, of caring for one another, and of preserving the natural environment that gives us life.
We infuse each program in ZERO EMISSION, which I invite you to please consider as yours, the feelings and the values of the Earth Charter, along with the poem and song of John Lennon, “Imagine¨; we confirm that yes, we are dreamers. We believe and we know that we can make a better world for more people. We are not alone in this task. We are moving along. That each day we become more and more, and that we are succeeding in this task.
I am also pleased to share with all of 
you the celebration of our first year of live transmissions as the only programme in Spanish dedicated to the promotion and awareness raising of Sustainability. Our audience comes from five continents; they tune in through devices connected to the Internet, in Podcast version, and through frequencies in the associated stations of Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, the United States, and Spain.
On ZERO EMISSION we promote the decarbonization of industry and transport and support the actions and initiatives of the United Nations for sustainable development; as well as movements such as divestment, driven by our fellow media group The Guardian and Bill Mckibben.
