A very successful Earth Charter network meeting took place in The Netherlands in early December 2008. The event was originally conceived and convened by Ruud Lubbers, Former Prime Minister of The Netherlands and Earth Charter Commissioners and was co-organized by NCDO and the Earth Charter International Secretariat.
