My connection with the Earth Charter began long before HomeBeing.
I hold a degree in philosophy and have spent my working life exploring the social dimensions of sustainability through human rights, inclusion, and social change. In 2018, I completed a Diploma in Education for Sustainable Development at the Earth Charter Center for Education for Sustainable Development.
The ideas I encountered there stayed with me. As HomeBeing began to take shape, I returned to the Charter from a new perspective — exploring how these values take root in our homes, surroundings, and everyday experiences.

At the heart of this exploration is a question:
How do big ideas about sustainability, justice, and care become part of the lives we actually live each day? HomeBeing is an experiment and a creative space for ideas about our relationships with ourselves, one another and the community of life.
The project connects philosophy, sustainability, nature, inclusion and design with questions we encounter in everyday life. What do we notice? What do we value? What possibilities do we see? How do we think about life and ourselves?
The Earth Charter offers a vision of a world in which respect for nature, human rights, justice, and peace belong together.
HomeBeing takes these big ideas and brings them closer.
Into the home. Into everyday life. Into the body. Into what we choose to notice.
Because if we are to create a different kind of world, we also need to be able to imagine what it might feel like to live in it.
HomeBeing is a place to explore that possibility.
Back in 2022, I have published a short ebook on Amazon with the translation and the story of my journey with the Earth Charter and how it changed my life. The title translates Just imagine! The art of being different to live more.

My current projects explore how technology can gently lead us out into life, awakening curiosity and deepening our connection with the world around us. Through HomeBeing’s calendars, I bring together music, reflections, and small daily experiments that invite people to notice, move, play, and discover new possibilities in familiar surroundings.
I am also creating slow travel audio journeys through Iceland, weaving together stories of local people, history, landscapes, and the forces of nature. These journeys invite travellers to explore at their own pace, pause along the way, and feel a closer connection with the places they pass through. Storytelling becomes a way of encountering the living world and reflecting on our place within it.
Alongside these projects, I create music and sound works that invite us to listen and remember that we are part of nature. Some of this work can be found on Spotify and other streaming services under HomeBeing
Across this work, I am experimenting with technology as a doorway into lived experience, opening space for attention, imagination, and a sense of belonging within the wider community of life.
