Submit your Sustainable Project to the Energy Globe Awards and win EUR 10,000. Deadline: 22 September 2014

Each year the Energy Globe Award – World Award for Sustainability honors exceptional sustainable projects from all around the world. Project entries are welcome again for the 2015 Awards and close on 22 September 2014. The international recognition that flows from these awards allows the winners to act as champions for sustainable development and inspire many others to follow this example.

Projects focusing on the conservation of resources, the improvement of air and water quality, the efficient use of energy, the implementation of renewable energies as well as creating a heightened awareness for these important areas are being accepted for the International Award. Energy Globe also yearly organizes National Awards in more than 100 countries which are presented to the public in a global online campaign on World Environment Day under patronage of UNESCO and jointly with UNEP.

Award Categories are Earth, Water, Air, Fire – symbolizing our 4 basic elements and in addition Youth – that stands for awareness building and education of young people who will be tomorrow’s leaders. Participation is free.

Prizes to win: EUR 10,000 each for winners in 5 award categories. Award recipients will be honored at an awards presentation ceremony. They also will receive featured coverage in TV and in many other international media.

Criteria for participation:  Projects can be entered by individuals as well as clubs, organizations, schools, universities, companies and public authorities. Only projects that have already been implemented will be considered for the Energy Globe Award. ‘Implemented’ means that enough progress must have been made for a project to be assessable.
