Astrid De La Lastra Martínez has a degree in Culinary Arts from the Inter-American University of Panama, where she presented her graduation project “Sustainable Restaurants in Panama.” Member of the Soka Gakkai International of Panama, where she is the coordinator of Team Soka in Agenda 2030, a group that aims to promote said agenda in Panamanian society. She has more than 5 years of experience in social projects that promote peace, culture and education. She took the Earth Charter International Leadership, Sustainability and Ethics course. She continues her training in Sustainability by currently taking the “Introduction to Sustainability” course at the University of Illinois. She is currently developing together with Yisel Remón a project called “Cappuccino Wednesday,” a virtual dialogue space for female empowerment, promoting SDGs 4, 5 and 10 and Principles 11 and 12 of the Earth Charter.
