Maxime Zadel

I became an Earth Charter Young Leader after completing the Leadership, Sustainability, and Ethics course. I am passionate about advocating for youth participation, women’s rights, and social justice. My dedication to promoting gender equality, empowering young people, and driving positive change through effective policy and advocacy work has been a cornerstone of my efforts in this field.

In alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), I strive to create inclusive and equitable opportunities for all. My participation in various significant international events, such as the SB in Bonn, the Regional Conference of Youth (RCOY) in Vienna, the Paris Peace Forum, and the event in Morocco, has enriched my perspective and strengthened my commitment to global advocacy and leadership.

In addition to my work with the UN, I work as a chef in a wild foraging restaurant. I love to cook with sustainable products, promoting healthy and happy living through my culinary creations.
