The 5th Global YES Summit – Rework the World, brought together 1700 participants and hundreds of ideas and initiatives from around the world. It took place June 2-5, 2010 in Leksand, Sweden. Theme of the Summit was: Youth – Entrepreneurship – Sustainability.
An Earth Charter session was organized by Earth Charter International Youth Facilitator on Youth Sustainability Leadership. The Summit was highly inspiring event where youth from all over the world gathered to discuss on solutions for better future. The event was a great networking opportunity for the Earth Charter youth network facilitator!
Training for sustainability leadership
The session’s goal is to support the participants to realize their role as leaders for more sustainable future and to help them to learn what the common, global values are that everyone can share. The aim is that after the session the participants are aware of the principles for sustainability and they will comprehend how those can be used as a tool on individual and organizational level. The session drives for positive change in participants’ everyday lives and creates a sense of global responsibility.
