Ernesto is currently a master’s student in Integral Environmental Administration, and he already has a degree in Sustainable Tourism. He lives in the city of Cancun, Mexico.
Since 2012, he has participated in volunteer programs, environmental education and in promoting citizen participation in urban and rural areas. He promotes critical thinking with the intention of generating changes in society and reducing social and environmental problems.
He has worked in the public and private spheres, as well as in local, national and international initiatives. Currently, he works as an environmental consultant and advises companies for the implementation of comprehensive environmental management systems, seeking to achieve sustainability in companies, especially tourism. He also works as a university professor teaching subjects such as sustainable development, social and environmental responsibility, tourism and development.
He addresses the following topics: sustainable tourism, climate change, economy and environmental impact, sustainable project management, and the Sustainable Development Goals.
