The Earth Charter Highlighted at UNEP Youth Leadership Training in Shanghai

The Earth Charter was highlighted at the 2007 Asia-Pacific Young Leaders Programme on Environment for Sustainable Development that took place in Shanghai. The ten-day programme was organized by the UNEP-Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development (IESD)

ECI offers Earth Charter Course for "Multipliers"

In July 2007 at UPEACE in Costa Rica, ECI offered a pilot 5-day course called Earth Charter as a Vision for the Future. Organized by the Earth Charter Office in Costa Rica, the course was offered in collaboration with AmanaKey, a large Brazilian educational and training center founded by ECI Council member Oscar Motomura.
