Ariana Meléndez is currently in her final year of Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations at the University of Costa Rica. She has experience working in communications with non profit organizations, research, and social media. She is passionate about social justice issues, and soon hopes to begin studying in order to get a masters degree in communications for development and social change. Her favorite thing to do at home in Costa Rica is to visit different waterfalls and swim in the rivers. As an Earth Charter Young Leader, Ariana hopes to spread awareness about the Earth Charter in her community and encourage people to implement it into their daily lives, their organizations, their businesses, etc.
