With a Liberal Arts Degree majoring in leadership studies from Soka University of Japan, Jolyn
aspires to serve the greater good through social justice and peacebuilding to create a beloved
community for all through civil society platforms. In actualizing this aspiration, she believes in
the importance of practicing a bottom-up approach and collective efforts to realize sustainable
world peace.
Centering her life purpose around peace work, Jolyn has engaged in international and local
non-profit organizations in her personal and professional lives. Moving forward, she hopes to
continue developing herself into a global citizen who contributes to civil society engagements,
particularly in community mobilization, and collaborates with other global leaders.
In her leisure time, Jolyn enjoys writing poetry, reading, and traveling.
