Marina Bakhnova, from the EC International Secretariat in Costa Rica has recently returned from Belorussia where she was able to meet our new Earth Charter Affiliate, Sofia Savelava and her Newline NGO, and to see how the Earth Charter is being implemented there.

Earth Charter Taiwan was launched on 4 June 2009. This is a network of individuals from different organizations and sectors who are interested in promoting the principles of the Earth Charter. To celebrate its start, several activities took place from 4 to 11 June 2009.
